Rachel Shelley comes from Swindon, England, UK, twenty five days into the eight month of the last year of the sixties. She is known in the entertainment world as an actress. Her work started off mid nineties when she appeared in few made for TV movies: Royce and Broken Heart, however she really only got noticed with Photographing Fairies (’97). Altogether she made almost 30 appearances in front of the viewers and in ’01 her performance in Lagaan: Once Upon A Time In India saw her being nominated for Best Supporting Actress by Zee Cine Awards.

TV Series are also a part of her work and she appeared in four episodes of Ghost Whisperer (’06-08) and has been a regular on the popular show The L Word for the past 4 years. It is her constant presence in the entertainment circles that saw her try her luck as a writer for UK Guardian where she submitted three articles at the beginning to mid last decade. On a personal from, she only lived in her home town for 1 year before relocating to London where she spent her childhood.

Rachel Shelley is an educated actress who completed her studies with honors at Sheffield University majoring in drama and English studies. She currently resides in Noting Hill with her husband and baby girl that was born in the second half of ’09. While she was pregnant, it didn’t stop her from working and she completed with her movie The Day.

On a light note, it was reported that she has no regrets in any work that she appeared in but when one’s financial situation is not that great, she couldn’t exactly pick and chose. Such was a case in a movie Everybody Loves Sunshine with David Bowie, that she couldn’t decline but it’s not a type of a move that she will be happy to do again.
